Sumatra Cattery is a small in-home cattery located in Maquoketa, IA. We have SBT kittens (not early generation or Foundation Bengals) that are pet, breeder and show quality.

Our Bengals are raised in our home and underfoot.  We spend a great deal of time with the kittens and cats to socialize them as family members.

Good Bengals are not inexpensive; you generally get what you pay for!

It is true that you can find Bengal kittens priced very low, but in most cases, these will not have the bright colors and vivid markings that you see on Bengals pictured on websites and in magazines.  There is a lot of expense involved in raising quality kittens, more than most people realize, so please do your homework when looking for a Bengal. Remember cheaper is not always better! 

All of our kittens come with a kitten contract or breeder contract. Our kittens come with a written health guarantee, first shots, worming, a kitten starter kit, health record and helpful information for bringing home your new kitty.
